The municipal beach of Sciez, located 200 m from the Campsite "La Renouillère***" is accessible from the campsite on foot by private road. With its grassed ground, this peaceful and tree-lined beach will enhance your days of relaxation and conviviality. Bring your children without risk thanks to supervised swimming in July and August, and let them enjoy the playground.
To eat, this beach is surrounded by restaurants and brasseries. The place is also ideal for water sports: sailing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, paddle, canoeing, as well as a beach volleyball court.

Between lake and mountain

The mountain
Bordered by the lake, but also located at the foot of the Alps, the town of Sciez not only offers water activities, but indeed a life-size playground! From family walks to more sporty hikes, you will find all kinds of routes for your hiking trips in the surrounding mountains.
Discover unsuspected places: castles, waterfalls, alpine chalets. Gain a little altitude to enjoy an extraordinary panoramic view of Lake Geneva. As you continue your way in the heights, you may come face to face with a chamois!
Thonon
Located 10 km, or 15 minutes from Camping La Renouillère*** by car, the small spa town of Thonon-les-Bains, in Haute-Savoie, is an excellent tourist site (but not too crowded!). Beyond its narrow border with the lake and the mountains, Thonon is a city rich in history.
Stroll downtown, then take the funicular for a scenic ride between charming houses and pretty gardens. Along the way, discover the landscapes plunging onto Lake Geneva and its marina. Then, if you still have strength, visit the Château de Ripaille, its garden and its vineyards.
Evian
19 km separate Camping La Renouillère*** from the town of Evian-les-Bains, in Haute-Savoie, i.e. 22 minutes by car. Renowned for its world-exported mineral water, the attractiveness of this nautical and seaside resort on Lake Geneva is unparalleled. Beaches, banks in bloom, nautical activities, the spa town also has magnificent buildings such as the Casino, the old thermal baths or the Cachat refreshment bar. Evian offers many family and general public activities, but also allows privileged and more upscale moments thanks to its various infrastructures such as the prestigious golf course, the casino, the thermal baths and the numerous spas.
Genève
The prestigious Swiss town at the end of Lake Geneva is located 28 km and 45 minutes by car from Camping La Renouillère***. Symbol of watchmaking excellence, renowned for its banks and its business district, Geneva is also a beautiful tourist destination. Discover the small streets of the old town, the magnificent lakeside parks or the many museums in the city.
Contemplate the harbor and its water jet, on foot or by bike, don't miss Geneva's must-sees such as the reformers' wall, Saint-Pierre cathedral or the flower clock in the English garden.
Avoriaz
In 53 km and a little more than 1 hour by car from Camping La Renouillère***, discover the resort of Avoriaz! At an altitude of 1800 m in the Morzine valley, Avoriaz is famous for its atypical architecture which tends to blend into the rocky mountains. The station is pedestrian, respectful of the environment, of comfort and guarantees a quality of life that makes it unique.
